The Harlem Globetrotters were founded in 1926 and have entertained basketball
audiences

for nearly 100 years with their unique combination of
basketball skill, comedy, and
theatricality. 1934-1937, the
Zulu Cannibal Giants did the same for baseball fans,
in grass
skirts and face paint, turning the baseball diamond into their own
comedy of errors.
Advertising broadside from a period in our history, advertising the barnstorming team the Zulu Cannibal Giants, an African-American team similar to the Harlem Globetrotters in terms of how their games were equal part entertainment and skill, but with a twist. The players wore grass skirts, no shirts, no shoes.
Two-color screen print on thick cardboard stock, some very
mild surface abrasions lower left water stain and on back, but otherwise quite strong and interesting.
